Character Development Foundation
The purpose of this organization is to promote ethical integrity
in young people and adults, for the betterment of individuals and

Character Education in Teacher Prep Programs at Faith-Based
Institutions Researchers from the Character
Education Partnership (CEP) and the Center for the Advancement of
Ethics and Character at Boston University found that colleges and
universities with religious affiliation are more committed to
character education than secular institutions (Finding Seven from

The Character Education and Civic
Engagement Technical Assistance Center (CETAC) is sponsored by

Hardee Center
for Leadership and Ethics in Higher Education fosters the
development of higher education leaders who are committed to public
service, ethical responsibility, social justice and leading with
vision and purpose. They publish the
Journal of College and
Character to inform professional colleagues, students, and
friends about research and educational programs related to moral and
civic learning in college.
The LeaderShape Institute
trains young adults to increase their commitment to acting
consistently with core ethical values, personal values and
convictions. Character education is a fundamental component of
their curriculum. Independent research conducted by the W. K.
Kellogg Foundation found LeaderShape, Inc. to be an exemplary
program for integrating leadership training and character
development.
