Character education is an essential
element in successful schools. Integrating character education into
high quality academic instruction requires educators who have
appropriate pre-service training and ongoing professional development
opportunities. The National Clearinghouse for the Teaching of
Character in Educator Preparation Programs (Character Ed Prep)
provides resources to support this goal.
